Robotics / Embedded Software Engineer (m/f/d)

At Nomadic Drones we build autonomous drones that land and recharge on high-voltage power lines. Our drones sit on live 380kV lines today, harvest energy from the grid, and deliver continuous monitoring data to grid operators across Europe and America. In this role you write the software that runs onboard our drones. You will be involved in every part of the system and lifecycle, from conception to deployment. We need someone who's excited about owning problems end-to-end rather than waiting for a spec. TASKS You develop and maintain software for flight behavior, data collection, telemetry, and autonomy. You work on communication between drones and cloud infrastructure. You debug issues on deployed hardware, often remotely and with limited information.
