Automotive Systems & Application Engineer (all genders) – Exterior Systems

## You will face challenges like - Developing and integrating automotive exterior systems and components from concept to production - Managing system and component requirements throughout the development lifecycle - Working closely with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers and multidisciplinary engineering teams - Supporting vehicle programs, prototype builds and production launches - Coordinating integration, verification, validation and release activities - Analyzing technical issues, identifying root causes and driving solutions - Contributing to product quality and ensuring compliance with customer requirements and automotive standards ## You impress us with - A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics or a comparable field - Experience in automotive engineering, exterior systems, component development or application engineering - Knowledge of one or more exterior components or systems, such as:Bumper Systems and Fascia Systems - Exterior Lighting and Mirrors - Washer Systems and Water Management - Cowl Water Management Systems - Wheel Arch Liners and Underbody Shields - Glass Systems and Body Side Mouldings - Roof Rack Systems and Aero Shields - Fuel Door or Charge Port Flaps - A sound understanding of automotive product development and systems engineering - Familiarity with CAD tools, engineering requirements and development processes - Knowledge of FMEA, APQP, DVP or related quality and validation processes is an advantage - Strong communication skills, a structured working approach and a customer-oriented mindset - Good English skills; German skills are an advantage ## How we want to win you for us Better Living not only in Engineering – you can expect - diverse career paths and individual development perspectives in a future-oriented company - mentoring and coaching programs, feedback discussions, and further training - flexible working models and partial remote work (usually 2 days in a 5-day week) - attractive additional benefits such as daycare and kindergarten allowance, company pension scheme - employee offers such as corporate fitness, JobRad, PC leasing, shopping discounts, and team events ## Good to know, all our jobs are - unlimited - available immediately - to be filled full-time (35h/40h) or part-time
