The Organizational Effectiveness (OR) Consultant (Leadership Training) is responsible for the ongoing monitoring, implementation, and administration of non‐accredited leadership development programs (LEAP, Initial FLS, Mid‐Level Manager, Chief, and Leadership Continuing training). They coordinate with the Executive Director of Organizational Effectiveness and Fleet Operations regarding changes or additions to the program or strategy.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead, maintain and implement the Nuclear Leadership and Talent Development Programs.
  • Coordinate and facilitate Leadership Training Review Committee meetings.
  • Create and track attendees for all Nuclear Leadership Development Programs.
  • Manage data in the Learning Management System (LMS) for record keeping and course administration.
  • Drive organizational performance through analysis and implementing intervention recommendations by working directly with senior leaders and executives; requires very strong communication and organizational skills and the ability to hold others accountable.
  • Manage multiple projects and initiatives, seeing issues from a strategic perspective and driving results on a tactical level; manage the leadership and employee engagement group budgets.
  • Interface with training organizations to design first‐line supervisor training program requirements to meet industry standards and guidance.
  • Prepare communications and messaging on leadership topics for all organization levels; coach leadership behaviors.
  • Represent PSEG Nuclear and collaborate with INPO and other working industry groups, assessing industry trends and implementing strategic initiatives to advance leadership performance.
  • Represent PSEG Nuclear during station and corporate assessments; interact with WANO/INPO.
  • Maintain requirements for Nuclear unescorted access and valid Real ID or approved alternate documentation.
  • Support nuclear refueling outages as needed.
  • Comply with Department of Energy Regulation 10 CFR 810 and maintain training and proficiency for emergency response assignments.

Job Specific Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3 years relevant experience, or 7 years relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Ability to focus on programs that drive the organization toward process improvements and transformation.
  • Drive organizational performance through analysis and intervention recommendations, working directly with senior leaders and executives.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to hold others accountable.
  • Manage multiple projects and initiatives from a strategic perspective and drive results on a tactical level.
  • Strong foundation in processes, standards, and behaviors of effective leaders and teams.
  • Understanding of nuclear performance improvement programs, nuclear regulation, and INPO assessment processes.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Applications and Teams.
  • Maintain nuclear requirements for Unescorted Site Access and hold a valid Real ID or approved alternate documentation.
  • Compliance with Department of Energy Regulation 10 CFR 810.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working with senior executive nuclear leadership teams.

Employees may be required to perform functions outside routine duties during emergency restoration efforts and may work on a schedule different from normal operations.
