With an extensive network and a deep understanding of the industry, we provide unparalleled opportunities for buyers and sellers in the marketplace.TasksAs a Sales Manager, you’ll be at the front line of our business, responsible for developing new customer relationships, growing existing accounts and driving significant transactional value across your territory.Our Sales Managers are the front line of our business and are directly responsible for the generation gross transactional value every year. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for proactively prospecting and cold calling new customers, as well as managing existing accounts. As a Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include:Key responsibilities include selling various multi-channel solutions, sourcing, maintaining existing accounts and growing sales, maintaining the territory playbook, understanding customer needs – "it’s all about the customer”, and negotiating and closing deals in collaboration with internal stakeholders.Sell all the Ritchie Bros. multi-channel solutions through prospecting & developing business, planning, pipeline management within the assigned territorySource and grow sales with new business and support existing business through personal and professional relationships with customers – it’s all about the customerDevelop assigned territory by building and maintaining the Playbook and utilizing the CRM (Salesforce) tool on a frequent basisUnderstand specific needs of customers and deliver value by providing customized solutions via presentationsPartner with internal stakeholders to negotiate and close dealsAttend 4 to 6 auction sales, 1 to 2 days each within the region, where you'll meet with your customers and colleaguesTravel overnight approximately 5 to 7 days per month to cover the territory and 1 to 2 days prior to each auction salePerform other duties as assignedProfile2 to 10 years in a structured outside/field sales role, and a consistent track record of meeting / exceeding quotasYou’ll have to have a valid driver’s license and clean driver’s recordEquipment Industry or Construction Equipment experience is preferredExperience in quota-driven sales required (Industry experience/knowledge highly desirable)Excellent communication and presentation skillsAble to build and maintain authentic customer relationshipsCompetitive without sacrificing integrityWork primarily from a home office and on the roadLocated near West Germany.BenefitsAt Ritchie Bros.
