Role Overview

The DataCloud Technical Architect in Specialized Delivery is a demonstrated thought leader in the technical and functional application of Data360 (fka. DataCloud) with cross-industry experience. They are a seasoned, data‐focused architect who understands the Salesforce platform and has proven success in helping customers unlock data and insights. This role is part of CSG Professional Services and the Emerging Specialized Delivery team. Technical Architects deliver technical solutions to meet the customer’s business and technical requirements, focusing on Data360, scripting, data management, and integrations. They evaluate options, present and educate customers/partners, proactively manage risk, and see issues through to resolution. They also serve as a growth multiplier, supporting knowledge sharing, reusable assets, best‐practice development, and other talent‐development activities in this high‐demand area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for Data360, both internally and with customers.
  • Act as a strategic advisor helping to unlock data from customers’ various enterprise systems.
  • Help or exceed customer goals and metrics while providing insights on Data360 best practices.
  • Work independently and be a self‐starter.
  • Deliver high client satisfaction (CSAT) scores by ensuring value is realized through each engagement.
  • Manage multiple strategic clients simultaneously to meet or exceed utilization targets.
  • Become recognized as a valuable and trusted advisor among customers and the Data360 community, and build a reputation for excellence in Professional Services.
  • Collaborate with the Go‐to‐Market team to drive continued growth of services and expansion within assigned accounts.
  • Maintain a high degree of expertise on the rapidly evolving product roadmap and the broader data platform landscape through continuous self‐directed learning.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Relevant Salesforce Data360 experience or equivalent Customer Data Platform experience (e.g., AdobeAEP, Tealium AudienceStream, Segment, ActionIQ, Treasure Data, etc.).
  • Relevant Salesforce experience in Sales & Service Cloud as well as Marketing Cloud; related certifications are a plus (Data360 Consultant, AI Specialist, Data Architect, Marketing Cloud Consultant, Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Service Cloud Consultant, Sales Cloud Consultant, etc.).
  • Data warehouse experience preferred (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery, SQLServer, Marketing Databases such as Adobe).
  • Experience with data management, data transformation, ETL, preferably using cloud‐based tools/infrastructure.
  • Data Architect skills and experience such as data profiling, data quality analysis, and experience with MDMs and fuzzy matching conventions.
  • Strong aptitude for communicating complex business and technical concepts using visualization and modeling aids; ability to conceptualize and create sophisticated diagrams and documents.
  • Strong desire and aptitude to learn new technologies quickly and thoroughly.
  • Expertise in gathering and analyzing information related to data integration, subscriber management, and identity resolution.
  • Experience with AI‐related data integration technologies and concepts, including RAG, vector databases, search indexes, and knowledge bases, especially as they apply to grounding Agentforce solutions with enterprise data.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence a group audience, facilitate solutions, and lead discussions such as implementation methodology, architectural roadmaps, enterprise transformation strategy, and executive‐level requirement gathering sessions and solution presentations.
