Freelance Specialist Regulatory Compliance Investment Banking

For an international investment bank based in Frankfurt, we are looking for support for a compact but internationally connected compliance team in the wholesale business.
Project start: 10/2026
Duration: 12–14 months
Workload: 2 days/week on-site in Frankfurt
Location: Frankfurt am Main
Responsibilities
- Ongoing management of the compliance programme, including controls and reporting
- Advising trading desks and senior management on compliance matters
- Submitting regulatory filings and registrations within deadlines
- Compliance monitoring, testing and audits
- Close coordination with international locations within a matrix structure
Profile
- 5+ years of experience in regulatory compliance
- Understanding of products and processes in Investment Banking / Global Markets
- Hands-on mentality
- English: business fluent (C1), German language skills welcome but not essential
