HSE Professional with Wind experience – Construction & Installation Projects

We are seeking experienced Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) professionals that have GWO certificate to support construction and installation projects throughout the full project lifecycle. You will work closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, customers and site teams to ensure compliance with project-specific HSE requirements and drive a strong safety culture on site.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparation & Planning

  • Review subcontractor qualification matrices, RAMS and HSE documentation.
  • Conduct site visits and advise on site compounds and safety arrangements.
  • Develop site-specific safety booklets, rescue information, inductions and HSE plans.
  • Align HSE documentation with customer and project requirements.
  • Prepare site readiness checks and HSE input for project kick-off meetings.

Project Kick-Off

  • Participate in kick-off meetings and present relevant HSE requirements.
  • Identify and follow up on missing subcontractor documentation.
  • Review and verify site-specific HSE documentation.

Site Execution & Supervision

  • Deliver site inductions and competency assessments for arriving teams.
  • Verify qualifications, certificates, PPE, tools and equipment.
  • Monitor compliance with RAMS, project HSE requirements and contractor agreements.
  • Support the implementation of NX HSE processes, including Permit to Work, POWRA and JSEA procedures.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, safety observations and HSE consultations.
  • Manage HSE tickets and actions using systems such as Upvise and ServiceNow.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly HSE reports and track corrective actions.
  • Support incident investigations, safety stand-downs and other HSE meetings.

Project Transition & Moving Phase

  • Support the safe dismantling, relocation and assembly of cranes.
  • Participate in lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Deliver inductions for commissioning teams.
  • Continue preparation activities for upcoming project phases.

What we’re looking for

  • Strong practical experience in construction, installation or industrial HSE environments.
  • Ability to work independently on site and engage effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience reviewing RAMS, conducting inspections and managing corrective actions.
  • Strong knowledge of site safety processes and risk management.
  • Excellent communication, reporting and organisational skills.
  • Willingness to spend significant time on project sites and support projects through all phases.
