A Snapshot of Your DayAs a Civil Site Engineer, you are responsible for overseeing and coordinating civil construction works on large-scale international power plant projects. Acting as a key interface between subcontractors, customers, and project stakeholders, you ensure that construction activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality, technical, schedule, and budget requirements.In this role, you actively support the planning and execution of site operations, monitor construction progress, and help resolve technical and organizational challenges. You contribute to a strong safety culture, promote collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, and foster productive relationships with all project partners. Through your commitment and engineering expertise, you play an important part in the successful delivery of complex projects that support the global energy transition.Because the work is project-based and involves travel to various sites both domestically and abroad, relocation to the company's headquarters is not needed.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Overall responsibility for the defined scope of civil works with regard to safe execution, ensuring quality requirements, timely completion and cost-efficient execution
• Contribute as part of the civil team, reporting to the Civil site manager
• Supervise subcontractors for civil construction activities through regular site inspections, coordination meetings, progress tracking, and quality oversight
• Ensure compliance with the requirements, regulations and procedures governing occupational environmental health and safety (EHS) and promotes and leads the Zero Harm
• Ensure correct and timely site progress measurement using standardized tools for the relevant scope along with Contractors and consortium partners

What You Bring

• University degree (or equivalent) in a civil engineering discipline or or similar technical field
• At least 3 years on site experience, in a leading position would be a plus
• Experience in the construction of complex industrial projects (preferable for combined cycle power plant projects) turn key and/or Consortium Partner (CP) projects
• In depth knowledge and competence in EHS policies, practices, regulations, and plans for on- site works for complex construction projects
• A strong team player with excellent communication skills
• Professional working proficiency in English and German is required
• Ability to execute energy projects of several months or long-term duration
