IT Support Working Student (m,f,d)

We are looking for a Working Student to join our IT team at CMS Legal Services located in Frankfurt am Main for up to 20 hours/week.

CMS is a Future Facing firm present in more than 40 countries worldwide. We combine deep local market understanding with a global overview. You would be joining the central IT team of CMS Legal Services EEIG – professional services hub that supports the CMS Firms globally across their business needs.

Your Key Responsibilities are:

  • First- and second-level support for employees with hardware and software issues.
  • Setup, configuration, deployment, and retrieval of laptops, mobile phones and other IT equipment.
  • Administration of onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing and providing end-user devices
  • Installation, replacement, maintenance, and troubleshooting of workplace hardware, including the execution of device replacement projects.
  • Management and maintenance of the hardware inventory, as well as support for equipment clean-up initiatives and asset management processes.
  • Processing and tracking IT service management tickets (Jira/ITSM) and supporting users with service requests and incident resolution.
  • Assisting with the administration of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Intune, and other company-wide IT systems.
  • Supporting mobile devices, including eSIM and mobile network topics, as well as smartphone management.
  • Coordinating hardware orders, inventory management, and the shipment and return of IT equipment in both national and international environments.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in English
  • Studies in IT, business administration as well as similar courses of study
  • Skilled in the use of MS Office applications (Excel, Power Point, Word)
  • Independent and structured way of working with an eye for details
  • Patience and high level of support
  • You are interested in IT maintenance and are keen to work in an international team
