Senior SAP IS-U Consultant (m/f/d)

Location: Germany, remote-first

Travel: Occasional customer visits for workshops, kick-offs and go-lives

Start: As soon as possible

We are looking for an experienced SAP IS-U Consultant to join a growing Utilities consultancy. You will work on varied customer projects across the German energy sector, including S/4HANA Utilities implementations, process design, system configuration, interfaces and solution architecture.

This role is suited to someone who combines strong Utilities process knowledge with technical understanding and enjoys taking responsibility beyond a narrowly defined module.

Your responsibilities

  • Advise Utilities customers on SAP IS-U and S/4HANA Utilities projects
  • Analyse requirements and design functional and technical solutions
  • Lead workshops and manage customer stakeholders
  • Configure SAP solutions and support implementation, testing and go-live
  • Work closely with developers on interfaces, data flows and technical issues
  • Take ownership of project topics across functional boundaries
  • Contribute to different project types, from implementations and transformations to selected support assignments

Your profile

  • Around five years of SAP consulting experience
  • Ideally five years in SAP IS-U, or at least two years in Utilities combined with broader SAP experience
  • Strong knowledge in at least one area such as billing, FI-CA, device management, master data or market communication
  • Good understanding of adjacent SAP IS-U processes
  • Technical affinity, for example configuration, interfaces, debugging, data structures or collaboration with ABAP developers
  • Experience working directly with customers and leading workshops
  • Fluent German and based in Germany
  • Independent, pragmatic and willing to work outside a narrowly defined specialism
