Data Architect

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and ownership for complex object storage projects across the EMEA region
• Advise customers of various industries and sizes on object storage architectures using NetApp solutions
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into appropriate technical solutions and target architectures
• Design, architect, and implement customer-specific object storage solutions
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Pre-Sales, and internal project teams
• Deliver technical workshops, architecture sessions, and customer briefings—both remotely and on-site

Requirements

• At least 12 years of experience in a similar consulting or architecture role
• Strong knowledge of object storage, particularly NetApp StorageGRID
• Experience with complex S3-based architectures, e.g., ONTAP S3
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing scalable, highly available storage solutions
• Fluent in German and English
• Degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience
