Geo IT Manager and Administrator (m/f/d)
Location: Recklinghausen / Remote work option
Work schedule: Full-time / Part-time
Compensation: EG 11 TVÖD-VKA / A12 LBesG NRW

Your Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for the expansion, operation, and administration of a DataHub cluster (PostGIS cluster) on Kubernetes.
- Your responsibilities will include actively participating in new projects, such as the development and integration of Urban Data Platforms (UDP) and GeoAI connections for government agencies.
- You will have product responsibility for smart dashboards (using Apache Superset).
- Your responsibilities will include providing ongoing consulting and support to our customers in the areas of DataHub/data management, as well as our products and services in the GeoIT sector.
- You will contribute to the further development of our product portfolio for WebGIS and desktop GIS applications (QGIS).
What you bring to the table:
- You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in geoinformatics, business informatics, or computer science.
- Experience in the geoinformatics field or a comparable qualification is desirable.
- You will impress us with your experience and in-depth knowledge of operating and maintaining a PostGIS cluster, as well as creating dashboards (preferably using Apache Superset).
- Ideally, you already have experience with the following products and technologies: Civitas Core, PostGIS, Apache Superset, Kubernetes, Python, and Git.
- You are distinguished by a high degree of customer focus, dedication, teamwork, and initiative.
- You hold a Class B driver’s license and have the mobility required to provide on-site customer support.
