Quality Manager
ATN is partnered with a leading global OEM in e-mobility in its search for Quality Managers, focusing across high-voltage electronics and battery cell manufacturing.
This role will act as the senior quality owner for HV electronics or battery cell programmes, ensuring product quality, robustness, and compliance throughout development, industrialisation, and series production.
Responsibilities
- Own quality strategy and execution across HV electronics or battery cell product programmes.
- Define quality objectives, KPIs, risk frameworks, and improvement roadmaps.
- Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and supplier teams across development milestones and production readiness reviews.
- Assess processes and deliverables against automotive quality standards (IATF 16949, VDA, APQP/PPAP).
- Lead root-cause analysis, 8D problem-solving, and corrective/preventive action processes.
- Lead quality audits, gate reviews, and project checkpoints across the product lifecycle.
- Manage supplier quality relationships for HV components or battery cell suppliers.
- Report quality status, risks, and escalations to engineering and senior leadership.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and first-time-right quality.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive Quality Management, ideally within HV electronics, battery cells, or e-mobility systems.
- Strong knowledge of automotive quality standards (IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, APQP/PPAP, FMEA).
- Experience managing supplier quality and production-launch quality gates.
- Strong analytical, root-cause, and problem-solving capability.
- Confident operating across engineering, manufacturing, and supplier interfaces.
- Comfortable providing constructive challenge at senior technical and leadership level.
- Proactive, autonomous, and outcome-driven approach.
- Excellent communication skills within an international environment.
- Fluent English; German a plus.
