Financial Modelling, Data & Decision Support | IRS Gruppe | Holding | Hamburg | Immediate start preferred

For IRS Group, a fast-growing, internationally operating platform organisation backed by private equity, we are looking for an experienced Senior Expert Group Controlling & Performance Management (m/f/d) to join us at the earliest opportunity.

This is a hands-on expert role for someone who enjoys working with financial data, building practical models and turning analysis into clear business decisions. You will work closely with the management team, Group Controlling, BI, IT and our local country teams.

You will not have direct people-management responsibility. Instead, you will take ownership of your topics, coordinate stakeholders and drive projects from the initial idea through to implementation.

This is not a pure reporting position. You will help us improve the way we plan, analyse and manage the business across countries and locations.

Aufgaben
  • Further develop Group Controlling, management reporting and performance management
  • Build and improve financial models for planning, forecasting, scenarios and business steering
  • Analyse the main drivers of revenue, costs, margins, cash flow and working capital
  • Turn financial and operational data into clear recommendations and practical actions
  • Develop useful KPIs and reporting structures that improve transparency and comparability across countries and locations
  • Work with BI and IT to improve the quality and consistency of our data
  • Help ensure that data from operational systems, ERP systems, LucaNet and management reporting is consistent
  • Lead controlling, reporting, data and process-improvement projects independently
  • Prepare clear analyses, business cases and decision papers for management and the Holding
  • Develop, maintain and further improve management reports in Power BI

Profil
  • Several years of relevant experience in Group Controlling, FP&A, Financial Modelling, Corporate Finance or a similar role
  • Experience working in an international organisation or across different countries
  • A solid understanding of the income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, working capital and operational business drivers
  • Practical experience with budgeting, forecasting, business planning, scenario analysis and management reporting
  • The ability to turn complex business topics into understandable financial models and clear management information
  • Strong Power BI skills and the ability to develop and maintain reports independently
  • A high level of interest in data and systems; experience with LucaNet, SAP, SQL, data warehouses or data engineering is an advantage
  • Experience coordinating projects and working with different stakeholders across functions and countries
  • The ability to work independently, set priorities and bring topics to completion
  • Very good English or German skills

Wir bieten
  • A central and highly visible role in the further development and professionalisation of Group Controlling
  • Direct collaboration with the Executive Board, management, Group Controlling, and relevant BI, IT, and local management teams — without direct line-management responsibility
  • Significant scope to shape financial modelling, reporting, planning, data management, and performance steering
  • An international platform organisation with around 170 locations
  • A dynamic transformation environment with short decision-making processes and high visibility of your work and results
  • An attractive compensation package reflecting the level of seniority, responsibility, and performance expectations
  • An attractive overall package, including hybrid working opportunities
  • Corporate benefits, including discounts of up to 50% at more than 1,500 brands
  • Company bike
