What tasks
does the position involve?

• Optimization and automation of Linux systems and Checkmk monitoring
• Operating the VMware vSphere environments and expanding the use of VCF
• Maintaining the Veeam infrastructure, implementing recovery workflows, and planning and conducting recovery tests
• Administration of FC-based storage systems (HPE) and fabrics (Brocade) at both data center locations
• Participation in on-call duty

What kind of candidate
are we looking for?

• A degree in IT or comparable qualification
• Strong knowledge of Linux, VMware vSphere, and Veeam Backup & Replication
• Practical experience with scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python, as well as with automation solutions such as Ansible
• Experience in monitoring with Checkmk and, ideally, with HPE storage systems and Brocade FC fabrics
• Curiosity about technology, initiative, and a sense of responsibility
• Very good written and spoken German (C1)
